Stirling Moss meets Alan Allard (Sydney Allard’s son) at the Allard Sports Cars stand Hall 20, Stand 223, Saturday 15 November, 12.30pm
One of the most famous and revered racing drivers of all time, Sir Stirling Moss, will visit Alan and Lloyd Allard (son and grandson of racer and sportscar designer/manufacturer Sydney Allard) at lunchtime on Saturday 15 November on the Allard Sports Car stand.
Sir Stirling and Sydney Allard competed directly in the 1952 Montecarlo Rally (racing a Sunbeam Talbot and an Allard P1 Saloon respectively) and the 1953 Le Mans (Sidney in a JR and Moss in a Jaguar C-Type). Sir Stirling will no doubt enjoy reminiscing those times with the younger Allards.
Visitors and media are invited to come to the Allard Sports Cars’ stand at 12.30pm on Saturday to see the newly restored Palm Beach MkII and a prototype Palm Beach MkIII rolling chassis.
