Highlights of the weeks Classic Motor News

Brrr, now that Beast from the East has passed it is officially spring and time to take the dust sheets off your classic motors and fire them up. Monday morning my Triumph T100S got booted into life and despite there still being snow on the verges I was out blowing off the cobwebs!

Latest Geneva Unveilings 

The covers of lots of cool and exotic supercars were whipped off at this week’s Geneva Motor Show, our two favourites were the super cool 50th anniversary edition of the new Morgan Plus 8 a cool £107,500 may secure you one read all about it here

McLaren also unveiled this McLaren Senna GTR their most extreme and thoroughbred track car ever, only 75 are proposed to be hand built. The 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine will have increased BHP output to 825PS – weighing in at just oner 1,000kg creating a similar amount of downforce. Wicked.

If you prefer your daily drives to be a bit more Grand Touring then perhaps the new Speedback Silverstone Edition from David Brown Automotive is more your thing? Just 10 are due to be hand-built at the Silverstone factory, with a 5.0-litre twin-scroll supercharged V8 engine offering 600 hp. Lots of luxuries all at £620,000.00

Latest Historic Racing News

It was the 1925 Bentley Super Sports of Graham and Marina Goodwin who reigned supreme on the Endurance Rally Association’s The Road to Saigon rally. Read more here.
