TRF Somerset Trial

The Somerset division of the TRF (Trail Riders Fellowship) enjoyed a great day out on privately owned farmland in Combe Woods yesterday (Sun 5th July) for their annual Summer Ride Day.

The stunning setting of Combe Woods, just west of Taunton was the location for the event where 150 Riders registered for the post-lockdown event all run under strict Covid-19 social distancing rules. Riders had a short briefing followed by a free day circulating a 2-3 mile closed circuit of the woods covering a mixed terrain of open fields, and wooded trails, including water crossings, steep inclines and jumps, as well as some optional trails of the circuit, which were graded as Expert, Beginner, or Moderate in difficulty.

Requirements for entry to this event included having fitted trials block pattern rear tyre and be a Paid up member of TRF.
