No reserve E-Types offered at Huge CCA summer sale

The closing date for Classic Car Auctions Summer Sale passed with 195 cars consigned to their Summer Sale, a huge catalogue of cars with two E-Types being offered at No Reserve.

Gary Dunne CCA Sales Manager commented: “The interest levels have been amazing in the closing couple of weeks. We have had an amazing response from our vendors with 195 cars consigned. Last week we had our star car, the Audi Quattro 20V confirmed and leading the list of No Reserves this week we have two stunning E-Type Jaguars.”

The two E-types on offer are both in outstanding condition, the first is a 1973 S3 FHC with just over 53,000 miles. Presented in the rare colour combination of Lavender Blue with a Biscuit interior, a UK right-hand drive car which was subject to a total rebuild completed in 2017. It is supplied with a Heritage Certificate and a history file detailing the five previous owners.

The second E-Type is a 1970 S2 Roadster, perfect for the summer. Coming from low ownership, just three keepers who have covered 70,139 miles. Presented in the classic Old English White with black leather interior, the car underwent a partial body off restoration some years ago with further work carried out on the interior and a new mohair hood. A remarkable car and at No Reserve.

Gary continued: “These are both wonderful classics. The E-Type is still the nation’s favourite and to have both of these cars fabulously presented is sure to generate substantial interest.”

The No Reserve list doesn’t stop there, with a further 50 cars offered at No Reserve, there is going to be a lot of interest. There are classics, barn and garage finds, restoration projects and some potential 90s and 2000s soon to be classics.

There is definitely something for everyone from a 2005 Maserati Coupe Cambiocorsa to a 1997 Reliant Robin LX. Sporty numbers include a 2000 Porsche Boxter 2.7 which is in the early stages of becoming a future classic, a 2003 Mercedes Benz CLK55 AMG, and two of the extremely rare VW Passat W8, a 2007 Audi RS4 Quattro and a 2002 BMW Alpina B3. Also on offer is two of the ultimate in sporting luxury cars, a pair of Audi S8s, a 2008 V10 and a 2002 V8.

There are also ten cars offered from the Pat Callis collection, from a 1936 Austin 7 Nippy which is in need of assembly, to the famous 1957 Jaguar Mk1 3.4 Saloon race car, again all at No Reserve. Also offered is a 1968 Ford Mustang 289GT Fastback in superb condition and with some recommissioning could be a stunner.

Classics on offer include an MGB, a partially finished 1966 Daimler 2.5 V8 restoration project and a 1969 Rover P5B Coupe, which if past history tells us, could be a fantastic opportunity even if it is only a runner but in need of restoration.

Gary commented: “We have such a huge spread of No Reserves, there literally is something for everyone and I am sure will fit most budgets. The above is just a snapshot of some of the cars. If you visit our website you can get further details on the cars, or give us a call and one of our team will chat through the car on your wish list.”

The Classic Car Auction Summer sale takes place at the Warwickshire Event Centre on the 18th June with viewing days on the Thursday and Friday.

There is plenty of free parking and it is easily accessed from the M40, M42. If you are buying the premium is 12.5% plus Vat.
