The organisers behind the successful series Equipe GTS and Equipe Pre-63 are launching a new grid 1950s Production Sports Cars and Sports Racing Cars for the 2020 Season. Equipe 50s will combines Production Sports Cars under 3.6 Litres and Sports Racing Cars under 2 Litres with classes split pre / post 1956. Races will be 20 minute qualifying and either two 20 minute races or a 40 minute pit stop race.
2020 has dedicated races and races running as a separate grid within the Equipe Pre 63 grid. The Equipe 50s will have its own podium and class awards. In addition, Equipe 50s cars will also be eligible for the Equipe 3 Hour Relay as well as the Equipe Summer Classic at Spa.
Equipe 50s will run on Dunlop Historic tyres and to FiA appendix K specification: FiA papers are welcome but not mandatory. Equipe 50s is a series, not a championship, so is open to individual entry of any event.
