What’s new in the 2018 Season Calendar?

Among a number of highlights for the coming year, is a visit to Hampshire for the special Thruxton 50th Anniversary Celebration meeting in June. The fast-flowing Thruxton circuit will host a combined grid of Woodcote Trophy and Stirling Moss Trophy in two 30-minute pit-stop races and a grid for the combined Historic Touring Car Challenge and Tony Dron Trophy over the two days of this celebratory weekend.

On July 20th-22nd the Historic Touring Car Challenge and Tony Dron Trophy competitors have been invited to return to the Silverstone Classic, after a year’s absence, and will be returning to the Oulton Park Gold Cup on August 27th following a very successful visit in 2017.

There will be a return to the fabulous Spa Six Hours meeting in September where the MRL team will again be running a combined 50s grid for a 61-minute race.  After a 9 year absence this year the 50s Sports cars will be joined by a Pre-War Sports Car grid and as always be offering hospitality in a two-storey suite overlooking Eau Rouge, as well as hosting a Saturday night soiree to watch the famous Spa Six Hours race run into the night.

To round off the season, all HTCC and 50s Sports cars will be returning to the Algarve Classic Festival in Portimao in October for the 2-hour race into the dusk for the 50s Sports Cars for which both SMT and WT grids are eligible and a 2 hour endurance race for Historic Touring Cars. All entries receive free beach-front hotel rooms included in the entry.

More information and all MRL Regulations and Entry Forms are now available on the website to download.
