Blenheim Classic and Supercar event

The annual Supercars at the Palace will roar into the magnificent grounds of Blenheim Palace on Sunday 6th May with more than 130 exquisite modern-day & classic supercars being displayed within the Great Court. Supercars at the Palace will be the warm up of the 2nd edition of the Blenheim Palace Classic & Supercar Show on Sunday 2nd September.

The event comprises four categories: Best of BritishForza ItaliaPorsche Performance and Best of the Rest with approximately 30 models in each and alongside. A specially-designated area will be allocated to a display of 15 of the latest super & hypercars presented by some of the manufacturers attending Blenheim Classic & Supercar in September.

Aston Martin, Bentley, Dendrobium, Lamborghini and Honda have confirmed their presence as manufactures for the first-time. More manufactures are waiting for confirmation.

Some of the highlights include:

Aston Martin Vantage: Having made its global debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, this will be one of the first public UK sighting of the sensational new Vantage. At its heart, a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 enables it to roar to 62mph in just 3.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 195mph. It is the perfect high-performance sportscar: raw and instinctive and all-engaging.

Bentley GT: The new Continental GT with its all-new 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 engine is the quintessential grand tourer: powerful, beautifully designed and exquisitely crafted.

Dendrobium: Developed in partnership with Williams F1, the Dendrobium is the first hypercar to come from Singapore. With electric power and F1 technology, it delivers power and torque enough to accelerate to 62mph in approximately 2.6 seconds.

Lamborghini Urus: On display is the UK’s first URUS. It is the world’s first true Super Sport Utility Vehicle combining off-road capability with blistering on-road performance thanks to its V8 4.0-litre engine which produces 650bhp and 850Nm of torque. This, in turn, enables a 0-62mph time of just 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 190mph.

For what is essentially a morning get-together of like-minded enthusiasts, the sheer diversity of cars on display promises to be astonishing with models from Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Caterham, Dendrobium, Ferrari, Ford, Gumpert, Honda, Jaguar, Jensen, Koenigsegg, Lamborghini, Maserati, McLaren, Nissan, Pagani, Porsche, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Shelby, TVR and Zenvo.

Supercars at the Palace take place from 9am to 12pm. www.blenheimpalace.com
