Benefits of a Pre-season Rolling Road visit.

Video thanks to Steve Kelly Media

Ted O’Day talks us through the Rolling Road visit to see A-Series guru Peter Baldwin’s rolling road for a pre-season check up with HSCC 70s Roadsport competitor Chris Fisher’s MG Arkely. Peter Baldwin (76) who still competes racing in historic Mini’s and has been specialising on the BMC A-Series engine since it first came out. “The benefits of visiting the same rolling road (which simulate the car under power and load) gives you a bench mark of power.” The MG Arkley was seen to be slightly under power from a previous visit but it was also found the rear brakes were binding!
