HSCC races star at Thruxton’s 50th Anniversary
Races from the Historic Sports Car Club, including two sensational Historic Formula Ford Championship rounds, were among the highlights of the hugely successful 50th Anniversary Meeting at Thruxton over the weekend (2/3 June).
What’s on at the Thruxton 50th Anniversary Celebration?
In a nutshell – Thruxton’s Anniversary weekend will feature; 15 races, high-speed demonstrations from Williams’ 1983 FW08C amongst other iconic racing cars and bikes, a static display of Mansell’s all-conquering, title-winning Williams FW14B, world-famous British Army parachute team the Red Devils, car club reunions, a funfair, live music, overnight camping and a fireworks display in evidence of the festival’s family-friendly appeal.
Motor Racing Legends heads to Thruxton 50th Anniversary Celebration
In just a week’s time Motor Racing Legends will be heading to Hampshire for the Thruxton 50th Anniversary Celebration where they are hosting two grids – the Historic Touring Car Challenge incorporating the Tony Dron Trophy and a combined race for the Royal Automobile Club Woodcote Trophy and Stirling Moss Trophy.
