John Retter shows us the highlights of the Bentley Drivers Meeting at Silverstone last weekend (1-2nd August 2015). Congratulations to Martyn Corfield who picked up two podiums with wins in both the Bic Healey Trophy and the FISCAR race. We suspect he wont want to sell that bright green Healey soon, but if you are interested in a race winning Healey it is still listed for sale on Auto Addicts.

There was a frightening accident in the Bentley Scratch race for Pre-66 cars incorporating the Pre War Challenge, a coming together between successful racer Clive Morley and Sue Shoosmith stopped the race on the first lap. Clive was thrown clear of his car before it rolled over, both drivers were taken to hospital. It is reported both drivers are OK, Clive has a number of broken bones but has been kept in hospital to recover. The race was eventually restarted, and John Retter said “The incident put a damper on an otherwise fantastic days racing.” Both John Retter and the crew here at Auto Addicts wish Clive a speedy recovery!
