AMOC Racing at Donington Park

Donington Park on Sunday July 29th hosted the latest round of the 2018 AMOC Racing season, and the wet and windy weather did not detract from a great day’s racing, which saw quality grids contest an eight-race programme.

HSCC at the Silverstone Classic

Three categories from the Historic Sports Car Club were on the bill at the Silverstone Classic (20-22 July) as tremendous racing in warm sunshine capped the biggest historic racing festival of the season.

HERO to take over events run by the ERA

HERO and the ERA have reached agreement for HERO to take over all the events organised by the ERA. Contracts have been exchanged, with completion set for the very near future. More information will be provided at an industry event to be held in the autumn, the details of which will be announced in due course.

FERRARI 166MM ‘UOVO’ to lead Concours of Elegance

The former home of Henry VIII, Hampton Court Palace, will play host to a selection of some of the rarest Ferraris ever built as Concours of Elegance gets underway from 31 August to 2 September. Ferraris from 1950 to the present day will appear in the Main Concours event, spearheaded by the unique and beautiful 166MM/ 212 Export ‘Uovo’.

HSCC Historic Sport Trial – 28th July 2018

HSCC held their annual historic sporting trial on the 28th July using land owned by Frank Lyons in Hertfordshire. The ground was very hard following a prolonged heatwave but even though there was some rain the night before it made little difference to the conditions other than keeping the dust down.

Croft Nostalgia date for HSCC racers

The hugely successful Croft Nostalgia Weekend is the next date for the Historic Sports Car Club when many of the Club’s categories race at the North Yorkshire track (August 4/5).
