Brooklands Museum opened its gates on Sunday to a whole host of American cars and motorbikes which cruised on to the Brooklands site for the annual “American Day’. It was Stars and Stripes all the way with gleaming chrome and paintwork filling the Paddock and Motoring Village. Amongst the cars representing the best of Americana were Mustangs, Dodge, Chryslers, Hot Rods and customs. As the cars and bikes entered the Village they were greeted by the re-creation of the iconic Scoreboard which has been erected in the same position in the Paddock as the original
