The second Hope Classic Rally will feature more of the UK’s most beautiful and desirable classic cars, driven by owners and enthusiasts alike as they celebrate the best of British automotive design, style and engineering. The rally is run in support of charity WeSeeHope, with established partners and exciting new sponsors.
Last night saw guests gathering at the first of two pre-event evenings held to celebrate this exciting Rally, to encourage people to fill the last available spaces and get to know the Charity a little better. The evening was hosted at Alfred Dunhill’s Mayfair ‘Home’, Bourdon House near Berkeley Square and welcomed guests, as well as two of the potential four-wheeled entrants for the Rally (a rare Aston Martin V8 Vantage X-pack & a beautiful Aston Martin DB4). The next celebratory evening will be held at the stunning Bremont Mayfair store later in May.
The Hope Classic Rally, taking place on 10th and 11th June 2016, is a car rally like no other. The beauty of extraordinary cars, the passion of enthusiasts, and the generosity of owners who donate their cars to be driven by others all combine to create real impact for some of the most vulnerable children in the world. The inaugural Hope Classic Rally 2015 raised an impressive £218,000 for the charity.
This year’s rally promises to be just as spectacular as last year’s event, featuring a line-up of similarly covetable classics such as the inimitable Ferrari 250 SWB, a magnificent Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing, the supremely British Aston Martin DB4, the definitive Porsche 911 2.7 RS, exotic Lamborghinis and the once-voted “most beautiful car of all time”, the Jaguar E-type. It takes place along a beautiful new route from historic Brooklands in Surrey to the Beaulieu National Motor Museum in the New Forest National Park in Hampshire.
The organisers are extremely pleased to welcome back partners: ADG Holdings, Qlik, Signify, Influence Associates, Infinity CML and Corfield Morris.
