CARS IN THE CLAYDONS, Claydon Estate, Middle Claydon near Buckingham: Tickets for the first running of Cars in the Claydons are now on sale. This new motoring and motorsport festival was announced in early December, and its organisers promise to provide visitors to north Buckinghamshire with a mouth-watering array of vintage, historic and classic vehicles. Competition and GT cars will also be on display at the Claydon Estate on Saturday September 3rd, with a motorcycle trial adding a competitive element to the day. A Touring Assembly called ‘Cars to the Claydons’ will compliment the main event. Event creator, James Beckett, says, “Interest in Cars in the Claydons has been highly encouraging. The event will allow visitors to view some brilliant vehicles and motorcycles, while taking in the beauty of the private gardens of Claydon Estate that surround Claydon House.”

Advance tickets have been priced at £8 for adults, with accompanied children aged 16 and under admitted free of charge. A VIP Preview Champagne Party is also planned for the Friday evening, with tickets for that costing £65.

Beckett adds, “There are so many great events take place throughout the year, and Cars in the Claydons, we hope, will offer a new festival to the marketplace that people wish to visit and be associated with. For 2016 we aim to make Cars in the Claydons an event that people want to see more of, and that will allow us to develop over the next three to five years into a major weekend motoring festival.”
