Motoring fans and automotive enthusiasts flocked to The Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, Wales on Father’s Day to enjoy a spectacular new event – Motoring at the Manor.
The guests enjoyed an exhilarating day of dramatic rally demonstration drives, static displays, fabulous food and drink and live entertainment.

The event showcased best-in-class motors including world-renowned classic cars, hyper cars, supercars, race and rally cars, with a combined value of over £60M.
There was even a celebration of Welsh heritage in motoring with 5 key examples of Welsh Wizardary showing the ingenuity of engineering born from the principality. The final winner of the exclusive Concours d’Elegance was awarded to the exquisite Bugatti Type 37 Prototype, a rare and precious vehicle valued at over £2.5m.

In addition to the 5 key car zones, car enthusiasts had the chance to experience the rush of rally speed by riding in some outstanding vehicles with legendary drivers in aid of the event charity Mission Motorsport, which helps ex-service veterans recover and retrain to rebuild their lives within the automotive sector.
There was also the opportunity to hear first-hand from the Kings and Queens of the motoring world, including British racing driver and Goodwood’s King of the Hill, Anthony Reid, rally legends Nicky Grist and Dai Llewellin and Rosemary Smith who holds the Guinness World Record for the oldest person ever to drive a Formula 1 car.


A host of glamorous celebrities were also in attendance to celebrate a special Father’s Day weekend at the Celtic Manor Resort on Sunday 16th June 2019.
