HSCC to moves to Silverstone

HSCCFJ1FJ2

The Historic Sports Car Club is moving to a prestigious new office location at the very heart of Silverstone Circuit.

With effect from Thursday 9 November, the Club’s headquarters will move less than a mile to the Historic Air Traffic Control Tower Office, one of the most historic buildings on the Silverstone site. Now fully refurbished into a modern office facility, the upper floor of the Control Tower once had expansive views across the World War II airfield and the original circuit. In the early years of Silverstone in the late 1940s and early 1950s, the building was used as a base for Royal Family members during visits to Silverstone.

The Club moved to Silverstone in 1995 and has been in its current building for 20 years. Now, in a move that builds on the Club’s strong links with the British Racing Drivers’ Club and Silverstone Circuit Ltd, the office will move into the centre of the circuit.

“We’re delighted to be moving to such a well-known building at the heart of the Silverstone complex,” said Graham White, CEO of the HSCC. “We are very grateful to the BRDC for making this facility available to the Club. The HSCC has recently celebrated 50 years and this office move will take us well into the next 50 years.”

The existing offices will shortly become part of the new Silverstone Experience, which will celebrate the heritage of Britain’s Grand Prix venue.

The move is planned for Thursday 9 November but the Club’s contact details will remain unchanged. There may be some disruption to the usual prompt service during the period of the move.
